This winter my clients asked me to produce a 3D visuel for their garden project. This example isn’t fantastic, the photos were taken in poor light in rubbish weather but they illustrate the process.
First I took pictures of the site for reference when I was designing. then I did the design in plan.
My client said that they were struggling to visualise the effect that the planting plan would have so they asked for a 3D. Bearing in mind that this is my very first ever attempt at using google sketchup ( a free program) I think it gives a fair representation of the volumes of the project
Obviously I hope to improve on the 3D rendering. I need more plant elements to illustrate planting more realistically but if just in terms of volumes, the sketchup « rough » is useful to show site organisation.
